Improve seamen¡¯s English level to increase the opportunities of working abroad

¡¡¡¡Although Chinese seamen are thought highly for their skills, hardiness and responsibility, they only take a small share in the shipping market for their poor English. For a seaman, it has a high requirement on comprehensive applying ability of English, especially on listening.
¡¡¡¡To improve our dispatched seamen¡¯s English level and increase boarding opportunities, our supervisor got in touch with Mr. Lorcan from London, Britain, initially negotiated the seaman English training courses, and planned to establish a joint running school to further improve seaman¡¯s English level.
¡¡¡¡Mr. Lorcan was quite interested in the plan and said he would like to help the seamen to improve their English.
